Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a precision manufacturing company in Fontana, CA . This role is ideal for a skilled machinist with experience in CNC turning, setup, G-code editing, and tight tolerance machining in a custom or low-volume production environment.
This is not repetitive production work — candidates must be able to independently manage setups, adjustments, and part quality from start to finish.
Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes (turning machines) .
Adjust offsets and restart programs mid-cycle as needed.
Machine and inspect large cylindrical parts and shafts to tight tolerances (±.001).
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications .
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring tools .
Edit and adjust G-code programs as necessary.
Maintain part quality and accuracy throughout the machining process.
